The Witch: Revenge (2024) is a Ukrainian horror-war film directed by Andriy Kolesnyk and written by Yaroslav Voytseshek. Set in the town of Konotop, known in folklore as a birthplace of witches, the story follows Olena, an ancient witch who had renounced her powers after falling in love with a mortal man, Andriy. Their peaceful life is shattered when Russian soldiers invade Ukraine and brutally murder Andriy. Consumed by grief and a thirst for vengeance, Olena reclaims her supernatural abilities to exact a horrifying and bloody retribution on her fiancé’s killers.
